Josh is a Documentary filmmaker who currently resides in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. His first film, Standing By Yourself, received critical acclaim and recognition after opening theatrically in 2002. Josh’s second feature length film, We Are Wizards, had its World Premiere at SXSW in March of 2008. Since then it has traveled to many film festivals around the world, and was theatrically released in 5 cities in November of 2008.

Josh also co-founded the Brooklyn Underground Film Festival, where he served as Programming Director for four years. In addition, he worked for four years at the Hamptons Int’l Film Festival as a Programmer and Programming Manager. He now works as Faculty at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn NY.

Josh is currently working on new feature length documentary films which have not yet been announced.
